Produced with quality milk obtained in the high altitude Kars plateaus in May, June and July, when greenery and flowers are abundant, this special aged kashar appeals to true cheese lovers with its full-fat, sourdough-leavened and firm consistency.
An average of 15–16 liters of milk is used for every 1 kg of kashar. Unlike the soft kashar cheese in the markets, it has a hard texture and intense aroma.
It is cut by slicing from large wheels (12–12.5 kg) and shipped in vacuum packaging.
